Let's have a productive year in 2020!

CC:BY Steve Davies, 2020 When I updated the Events list a few weeks back I could see there was a lot of interesting stuff happening this year, both for us 'sisters' and at our guilds, at local and national level. Exciting times and the Chinese New Year is just starting with the rat as its symbol. This is a productive animal (reproductive animal as you will know). In Chinese culture rat years are associated with working diligently and being thrifty. Spinning fits the bill - as do as our other crafts. I hope we all do some amazing things this year without breaking our budgets to have fun. The lino cut picture here is one by Steve Davies who also designed and printed the bunting we use at our public events and camps. He is (sort of) our resident artist, cake-maker, equipment mender and chauffeur. His only weakness is that he does not spin. You can find out more about what Steve is working on here.
